Prof. Shui Yu
University of Technology Sydney

Shui Yu (IEEE F’23) obtained his PhD from Deakin University, Australia, in 2004. He is a Professor of School of Computer Science, Deputy Chair of University Research Committee, University of Technology Sydney, Australia. His research interest includes Cybersecurity, Network Science, Big Data, and Mathematical Modelling. He has published five monographs and edited two books, more than 500 technical papers at different venues, such as IEEE TDSC, TPDS, TC, TIFS, TMC, TKDE, TETC, ToN, and INFOCOM. His current h-index is 71. Professor Yu promoted the research field of networking for big data since 2013, and his research outputs have been widely adopted by industrial systems, such as Amazon cloud security. He is currently serving the editorial boards of IEEE Communications Surveys and Tutorials (Area Editor) and IEEE Internet of Things Journal (Editor). He served as a Distinguished Lecturer of IEEE Communications Society (2018-2021). He is a Distinguished Visitor of IEEE Computer Society, and an elected member of Board of Governors of IEEE VTS and ComSoc, respectively. He is a member of ACM and AAAS, and a Fellow of IEEE.

Clément Gosselin received the Ph.D. degree from McGill University in Canada and completed a post-doctoral fellowship at INRIA in France.  Since 1989, he has been with the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Université Laval, Québec, Canada where he is a Full Professor since 1997 and where has held a Canada Research Chair from 2001 to 2021. His research interests are kinematics, dynamics and control of robotic mechanical systems with a particular emphasis on the mechanics of grasping, the kinematics and dynamics of parallel manipulators, the development of human-friendly robots and the synthesis of haptic devices.  He is an Editor of the IEEE Robotics and Automation Letters and an Associate Editor of the ASME Journal of Mechanisms and Robotics. Dr. Gosselin received several awards including the ASME DED Mechanisms and Robotics Committee Award in 2008,  the ASME Machine Design Award in 2013 and the IFToMM Award of Merit in 2019. He was appointed Officer of the Order of Canada in 2010 for contributions to research in parallel mechanisms and underactuated systems. He is a fellow of the ASME, of the IEEE and of the Royal Society of Canada.

Dr.Ts. Chien-Sing LEE Coming from a pure science background, local and international mentors, Fulbright and the IEEE provided opportunities for interdisciplinary research to Dr. Lee. An IEEE senior member since 2007, she learnt the Learning Sciences and Interactive Computing from Lehigh University, and Georgia Tech, USA, on a Fulbright Visiting Scholar Fellowship, in 2008/2009, while with Multimedia University (1997-2011). In 2009, the JCI (M) awarded her the Ten Young Outstanding Malaysian (Science & Technology Development). Overseas exposure as Faculty in National Central University, Taiwan, (2011-2013), complemented JICA’s. Two years in the Faculty of Creative Industries, Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman, augmented design/computing concepts.

Dr. Jia Ye, currently serves as a Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering at Chongqing University, China. Dr. Ye specializes in the field of wireless signal transmission, including the development of new technologies for collaborative transmission and their applications in communications and electrical engineering. Dr. Ye has published more than 40 academic papers, including 35 SCI-indexed papers and 5 EI-indexed papers. She has published 18 journal papers as the first author/corresponding author, including 16 papers in prestigious IEEE journals, with a total citation count of over 1300 and an h-index of 20. She secured a National Natural Science Foundation of China grant for young scientists and Chongqing Municipal Natural Science Foundation Innovation Development Joint Fund Project. She was selected for the National-level Young Talent Program and the Chongqing Young Top Talent Program. Dr. Ye was awarded the IEEE Andrea Goldsmith Young Scholars Award by the IEEE Communication Theory Technical Committee.

Prof. Wenbo Liu

Prof. Dr. Wenbo Liu is the Associate Head of the Department of Materials Forming and Control Engineering, the School of Mechanical Engineering, Sichuan University. His current area of research is advanced metal functional materials, which mainly include the following aspects: (1) nanostructured metal materials from initial fabrication and analysis to potential applications (such as energy storage and conversion, environmental protection, catalysis, sensing, etc.) and (2) Mn-Cu-based damping alloys from material design to technological development and engineering applications. He has published over 100 journal papers in peer-reviewed journals, such as Adv. Funct. Mater., Chem. Eng. J., EcoMat, J. Mater. Chem. A, Composites Part B-Eng., J. Mater. Sci. Technol., J. Power Sources, etc.. His papers have a total ISI citation score of over 1300 and an H-index of 23 (web of science). He is the holder of 18 Chinese patents and has 8 pending patent applications. Liu has received many prizes and awards, including the Hong Kong Scholars Award and the Chengdu Natural Science Award, for his achievements in the fields of materials science and engineering. He is a Life Member of American Association for Science and Technology (AASCIT), as well as an Editorial Board Member OF 10 international journals, such as NML, EEM, CCL, BE, FER, etc.
